Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), NPF
(Non Performing Financing), NIM (Net Interest Margin), BOPO (Operational Cost of
Operating Income), and Third Party Funds (DPK) to Profitablitias with FDR (Financing to
Deposit Ratio) as Intervening Variable. The population in this study are 11 Sharia
Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the period 2011 to 2014. Sample selection is done by
purposive sampling method, resulting in 10 Sharia Commercial Banks to be sampled in this
study.
The analytical techniques used in this study are 1) Financial Analysis, 2) Classic
Assumption Test consisting of Normality Test, Heteroskedastisitas, and Multikolinearitas, 3)
Multiple Regression Analysis and 4) Path Analysis (Path Analysis) to determine the influence
of direct and indirect given the independent variable to the dependent variable through the
intervening variable.
The results of this study indicate that 1) CAR has indirect influence on ROA through
FDR as intervening variable. 2) NPF has no effect on ROA. 3) NIM has a direct influence on
ROA. 4) BOPO has a direct influence on ROA. 5) DPK has an indirect effect on ROA
through FDR as intervening variable.
