Abstract


This research aims to determine the effect of ROI and CSR on corporate value
with profitability as a moderating variable.
Population in this research is manufacturing company of basic industry and
chemical sector which listed in BEI year 2012-2016 that is 9 company by using purpose
samling obtained 8 company.
Partial research results show that (ROI) does not affect the value of the
company, because the value of sig = 0.907> 0.05 so Ho accepted. CSR has significant
effect on firm value, because the value of sig = 0,000 <0,05 so Ho is rejected. ROI and
CSR simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value, because the value of F step
1 = 10,947 and sig = 0,000 <5% and value of F step 2 = 28,27 and sig = 0,000 <5%.
Profitability affects ROI with firm value, because sig = 0,000 <0,05 so Ho is rejected.
Profitability affects CSR with firm value, because sig = 0,000 <0,05 so Ho is rejected.
