INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE, WORK DISCIPLINE, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON WORK PRODUCTIVITY WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE (Case Study at Citrus Department Store DP Mall Semarang)

Abstract


Citrus Department Store is a retail company engaged in fashion, which has famous products. Department
Stores located on the ground floor of DP Mall Semarang began launching on June 12, 2013. This research was
conducted with the aim to find out how the influence of transformational leadership style, work discipline, and
environment on work productivity through organizational culture on employees of Citrus Department Store DP
Mall Semarang.
The sampling method used in this study is saturated sampling technique, where all members of the
population are sampled. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were
employees of Citrus Department Store DP Mall Semarang. Data testing techniques used in this study include
validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, model feasibility test, stepwise linear regression analysis test,
determination coefficient test (R Square), and direct and indirect influence test.
The results of the analysis and discussion show that the variables of transformational leadership style,
work discipline, and work environment partially and positively influence significantly on Citrus Department Store
employee organizational culture variables and show that variables of transformational leadership style, work
discipline, and work environment are partially influential positive and significant variable on work productivity.
In addition, partially the variables of transformational leadership style, work discipline, and work environment
on work productivity are not influenced by organizational culture as an intervening variable.
