EFFECT OF SUPERVISION AND DISCIPLINE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES WORKING SATUAN POLISI PAMONG PRAJA KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract


Human resources (HR) has a very important role, this is due to reach the goal, the success of an organization depends very much of the human factor in the organization concerned. To achieve the goals set by the Organization, the supervision being the most important element in the management of the organization. In addition one of the efforts in maximizing the potential of human resources is through the enforcement of discipline employees.  The implementation of an activity with supervision can result in increased work and discipline will effect directly to the performance of the employees. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of how big the influence of supervision and Discipline work against Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Semarang.

The population in this research is the entire Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Semarang which amounted to 300 employees. The sample in this study was of 72 respondents. A statistical analysis performed multiple linear regression and includes hypothesis testing.

Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded; There is a significant positive influence between the supervision of the performance of the employees, this is proven t count (5,114) > t table (1,667) or sig t 0.000 < 0.05, There are significant positive influence amongst the working discipline against the performance of the employees, this is proven t count (5,751) > t table (1,667) or sig t (0.000) < 0.05, There are significant positive influence between supervision and Discipline Working together against the performance of the employees, this is proven F count (68,353) > F table (3,130) or sig F (0.000), the value of the coefficient 0,05 < determination is 0,655 which means changes influenced employee performance variation of supervision and discipline Work of 65,5%, while the remaining 34.5% are influenced by factors other than the research
