EFFECT OF HUMAN RELATIONSHIP , COMPENSATION AND ORGANIZATION COMMITMENT ON THE JOB SATISFACTION IN " PIZZA HUT " SEMARANG

Abstract


Pizza hut is a restaurant with a chain and international Frencise food which is special for pizza. This company was established in 1958 by two college students, Dan and Frank Carney in Wichita, Kansas. Nowadays, Pizza Hut is the Biggest Pizza Restaurant over the world, which is almost 34.000 restaurants, take away shop more than 100 countries.  Pizza Hut Restaurant which is observed is Pizza Hut that located at Simpang Lima street, Number 1, Semarang. Related to the effort of increasing the job satisfaction of the employees was decreased recently and there was many troubles among the employees which is causing the employees turnover. Pizza Hut employees turnover indicates that the job satisfaction was decrease, which is background as the effect of the decreasing of the human relationship, compensation, and organization commitment that could give the positive impact for the increasing of job satisfaction.

Analytical techniques used is multiple linear regression and goodness of fit. Be have population 314 person and sampling 100 person based on the the result of the analysis can be known  that value t calculate variable human relationship  amounting to 2.456, compensation 3.520, dan organization commitment 3.903 each variables shows t calculate > t table 1.66055,  then the hypothesis stating human relationship, compensation, and organization commitment give the positive impact and significant for the increasing of job satisfaction can be accepted. F value is 31.107 > F table 2.70, then the hypothesis stating that human relationship, compensation, and organization commitment give the positive effect simultaneously toward the job satisfaction in Semarang Pizza Hut can be accepted.
