ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND QUALITY OF WORK LIFE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AND JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE

Abstract


This research is motivated by the performance of instability that affect patient satisfaction. Regional General Hospital Semarang further enhance employee performance by providing training to all employees equally so that employees work more effectively. In this case study raised three variables: personal characteristics, organizational culture, and the quality of working life. In this study, the data used is primary data which can then be taken from the 947 population sample of 100 respondents. The technique used in this study is sampling purposive sampling method, then the data is processed using multiple regression analysis. The population used was employee Regional General Hospital Semarang are still working at the hospital. From the data processing in mind that this study meets the requirements of validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing using t test showed that the variables of personality characteristics (X1), variable of organizational culture (X2), quality of work life (X3) influence on job satisfaction (Y1) t count> t table (3.687; 1.993; 2.292> 1, 98 447) with sig t <α (0.000; 0.049; 0.024 <0.05). From the test results obtained job satisfaction variables F F count> F table (57.889> 2.70) with F sig (0,000) <0.05, which means that simultaneous personality characteristics (X1), organizational culture (X2), quality of life work (X3) influence on job satisfaction (Y1) and the results of the F test employee performance (Y2) obtained F count> F table (150.109> 3.94), which means that simultaneous personality characteristics (X1), organizational culture (X2), quality of work life (X3) influence on employee performance. The conclusion of this study is the variable of personality characteristics, organizational culture, quality of work life on employee performance and job satisfaction. Simultaneously there is the influence of personality characteristics, organizational culture, quality of work life on employee performance and job satisfaction.
