THE INFLUENCE OF DEVELOPMENT CAREERS AND EMPOWERMENT TO THE COMPETENCE OF EMPLOYEES TROUGH PROFESSIONAL WORK (Studi Of Teaching staff in the Neigborhood of Engineering Faculty Diponegoro University Semarang)

Abstract


This study aims to identify and explain the effect of workload and work towards the empowerment of employees through the competence of professionalism in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Diponegoro in Semarang.

Samples are 53 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using a study population as all employees of educational personnel in the FT Undip taken as samples at 53 employees. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression.

The results showed that there was a significant influence between the variables of career development towards professionalism is evidenced by the t value of 4.718> t table of 1.6753 and a probability value of 0.000 <significance level of 5% or 0.05. There was a significant influence between the variables of empowerment work towards professionalism is evidenced by the t value of 2.519> t table of 1.6753 and a probability value of 0.015 <significance level of 5% or 0.05. There was a significant influence between the variables of Career Development and Empowerment Working simultaneously on Professionalism Working evidenced by the calculated F value of 38.205> F table by 3.18 and the probability value of 0.000 is smaller than the significance level of 5% or 0.05. There was a significant influence between the variables of the Career Development Job Professionalism evidenced by the t value of 2.572> t table of 1.6759 and a probability value of 0.013 <significance level of 5% or 0.05. There was a significant influence between the variables of the Competence Employee Empowerment Work evidenced by the t value of 3.214> t table of 1.6759 and a probability value of 0.002 <significance level of 5% or 0.05. There was a significant influence between the variables Competencies Professionalism Working towards Employees evidenced by the t value of 3.579> t table of 1.6759 and a probability value of 0.001 <significance level of 5% or 0.05.
