Abstract


The purpose of this research is to determine motivation influential work partially on the performance of the staff of the Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang, to learn discipline influential work partially on the performance of the staff of the Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang, to find the motivation and discipline influential work simultaneously on performance employees of the Office of Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang.
The population in this study are all members of the Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang who had worked> 5 years, as many as 174 people. The sample in this study were employees of the Office of Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang were taken using random sampling method. Data used in this study is qualitative data and quantitative data.
It can be concluded that the motivation to work in the Office of Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang has a partial effect on the performance based on employee perceptions, work discipline at the Office of Civil Service Police Unit of Semarang has a partial effect on the performance based on employee perceptions and motivation and Discipline of work simultaneous influence on employee performance.
