Abstract


UPTD Dikpora District Dukuhturi Tegal in its task of providing services to the public in the field
of education strives to enable teachers who work in its ranks has high organizational commitment. The
initial survey has been done there is a problem decline in job satisfaction of teachers SDN which
adversely affects the organizational commitment of teachers to their institutions. This study aims to
determine the effect of the quality of working life and the individual characteristics of the organization's
commitment and know the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment.The population of as
many as 94 teachers, which uses census sampling technique, so that 94 teachers were sampled in this
study. The analyzed data derived from questionnaires to teachers who were sampled using a Likert scale.
Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method linear done with 2 stages or Two Stage
Least Square (2SLS). The results showed that the quality of working life and the individual characteristics
of partial and simultaneous positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Moreover, job satisfaction
and a significant positive effect on organizational commitment.
