Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Return on Assets, CashRatio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning Per Share, Total Assets Turn Over, and size, of the Dividend Payout Ratio on companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) of the year 2009 to 2013. the study sample consisted of 24 companies of 146 manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) the number of observations of 120 observational data.

However, after deducting the amount of observational data outliers to 116 data. The sampling method is done by using purposive sampling. The data obtained from the study year 2009-2013 financial statementsthat have been audited.

Data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t-statistics used in this study to test the partial regression coefficients. In addition, all variables were tested with the normality test, test Multicollinearity, Heteroskidastity test and autocorrelation test.

The results showed that there were no irregularities classical assumption, this shows that the available data has been qualified for use of multiple linear regression models. Based on analysis of partial, of the seven independent variables only variables ROA, CR, TATO which significantly influence the House. Of the value of determination coefficient of 0.358 indicates that the model can explain the variation (rise and fall) of the Parliament of 35.8% while the rest, ie 64.2% is explained by other variables outside the model equations. This suggests that financial ratios are not the only information that can be used as a consideration in the determination of the dividend payout ratio of manufacturing companies.
