Abstract


This study aims to identify, analyze and test the effect of profitability, tangible, leverage, corporate tax, and the inflation rate to capital structure on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The population in this study is a sub company of textile and garment sector in 2011-2014 period. Of all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, only 17 companies that meet the criteria of the study sample that has been set. Technical analysis of data is performed with the classical assumption, hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 20.0 for windows. The results showed that profitability, tangible, leverage, corporate tax, and the inflation rate companies partial significant positive effect on the capital structure. While testing the coefficient of determination shows that the profitability, tangible, leverage, corporate tax, and the inflation rate of 43.8% has an effect on the capital structure on a sub company of textile and garment sector listed on the Stock Exchange in 2011-2014.
