RELEVANSI PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI TERHADAP FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MELATARBELAKANGI KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN KARIR AKUNTAN PUBLIK DAN NON AKUNTAN PUBLIK (Studi Empiris Pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi UNDIP dan UNPAND)

Abstract

This research is aimed to identify at understanding the relationship of accounting students to the factors of the background for a accountants career choice decision as a public accountants, government accountants, private accountant, and teachers accountants. The factor used as a variable is an intrinsic value, salary/financial rewards, personalities, labor market, and gender.
Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire with interview at Diponegoro University and Pandanaran University of accounting students. The sample used by 125 respondent. The result of this analysis showed that variables intrinsic value, salary/financial rewards, personalities, and labor market significant influence on the accountants career choice decision by accounting students, but the gender variable does not significantly influence on the accountant career choice decision by accounting students.
