Abstract


The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of profitability, likuidity, firm size, sales growth, asset structure, and bussiness risk to the capital structure manufacture companies of consumer goods which are listedin in Indosia Stock Exchange during the period of 2011-2015. Employing purposive sampling technique with specific criteria, this study uses 20 companies per year. The total company during 2011-2015 is 100 companies. Data is analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The analysis technique has been done by performing multiple regressions and classicassumption which consist of normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorelation test. Mean while the hypothesis test hasbeen done by using t test which is done by using SPSS program version 20. The results of this study indicate that profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, liquidity has a positive effect is not significant to capital structure, firm size has positive and significant influence, sales growth has positive and insignificant effect, asset structure has positive and significant influence to capital structure while business risk have no significant effect on capital structure.
