Abstract


This study aims to determine the application of Work Experience and Work Ability to Work
Productivity with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study
were all employees of PT Pinnacle Apparels. The samples taken in this study were 90
employees of PT Pinnacle Apparels. So the questionnaires that have been distributed are 90
questionnaires. This study uses the purposive sampling method, namely the selection of
samples based on a certain assessment from the researcher. SPSS output shows the value of
the indirect effect of work experience on work productivity through job satisfaction (0.169) >
direct effect (0.069), then job satisfaction mediates the effect of work experience on work
productivity. Indirect effect of work ability variable on work productivity through job
satisfaction (0. 120) > direct effect (0.084). So job satisfaction mediates the effect of work
ability on work productivity. Indirect effect of work experience and work ability on work
productivity through job satisfaction (0.016)> direct effect (0.014). So job satisfaction
mediates the effect of work experience and work ability simultaneously on work productivity.
