Abstract


In order toe valuate and investigate the relationship between leadership
style and academic supervision and teacher effectiveness,this study employs
work motivation as an intervening variable. This study involved forty
instructorsfrom the Sudirman Kedungjati Islamic Vocationa lSchool.Because
there were only 40 teachersin the tiny community,a saturated sample or
census was used in the sampling process.The partialleadership style
variable had no appreciable positive effecton work motivation.This is
demonstrated bythe positive regression coefficientvalue of0.179 and the
significance value of 0.222 > 0.05,leading to the rejection of H1.The
academicsupervision variable hasa considerable and somewhatbeneficial
impacton workmotivation.Thisisdemonstrated bythe positive regression
coefficientvalueof0.179andthesignificancevalueof0.222>0.05,leading
totherejectionofH1.Theacademicsupervisionvariablehasaconsiderable
andsomewhatbeneficialimpactonworkmotivation.Thisissupportedbythe
positive regression coefficientresultof0.460 and the significance value of
0.046 <0.05, leading to the acceptance of H2. The work motivation
component has a strong and somewhat beneficial effect on teacher
performance.Thisissupportedbythepositiveregressioncoefficientresultof
0.167andthesignificancevalueof0.006<0.05,leadingtotheacceptanceof
H3.
Leadership style traits have a favorable and substantial impacton
teacher performance.This is supported by the positive regression coefficient
result of0.141 and the significance value of0.018 <0.05,leading to the
acceptance ofH4.The academic supervision variable has a strong and
somewhat beneficial effect on teacher performance. Given that the
regression coefficientresultis0.227(positive)and the significance value is
0.021<0.05,H5 isdeemed acceptable.The employmentincentive variable
does not moderate the association between teacher performance and
leadership style.Ata significance levelof5%,the zvalue of0.763 > 0.05
suggeststhatthisisthecase,soH6isrejected.The work motivation variable
does not mitigate the link between teacher performance and academic
supervision.At a significan celevelof 5%,the  zvalue of 0.155>0.05 suggests  that this is the case, so H7 is rejected.
