Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between discipline, motivation, and employee performance, using work satisfaction as a mediator (using a case study of the Semarang City Trade Department employees as an example). Specifically, multiple regression analysis is used in this quantitative study. Based on the purposive sampling strategy, this study used a sample size of 80 participants. The findings of this study demonstrate that, with job satisfaction serving as an intervening variable, discipline and motivation significantly impact employee performance (Case Study of Semarang City
Trade Service Employees).

Keywords: discipline, motivation, employee performance and job satisfaction.
