Abstract


This research aims to analyze the influence of work experience and education level on employee competence through the mediation of competency-based training. The population of the study consists of quality control staff for dresses/blouses at PT. Ungaran Sari Garment. Data collection was conducted through surveys and questionnaires, with a sample of 79 respondents. The findings of the study show that work experience does not have a significant positive effect on competency-based training, education level has a significant positive effect on competency-based training, work experience does not have a significant positive effect on employee competence, competency-based training has a significant positive effect on employee competence, work experience does not affect employee competence through competency-based training, and education level influences employee competence through competency-based training.
