INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION, LEADERSHIP STYLE, AND COMPENSATION TO THE WORK SPIRIT WITH WORK COMMITMENT AS INTERVENING VARIABLES (Case Study of Employees of PT Orlando Aristo Transportation)

Abstract


This research entitled the influence of motivation, leadership style, and compensation to work morale with work commitment as intervening case study variable at PT Orlando Aristo Transportation employees. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linier regression analysis method. The result of doubled linear regression analysis showed that motivation variable had positive and not significant effect to work morale with t count equal to 1,518 <t table equal to 1,666 with significant value 0,133> 0,05. Leadership style variable has positive and significant effect to work morale with t value equal to 3,152> t table equal to 1,666 with significant value 0,02<0,05. The variable of compensation have positive and significant effect to work morale with t value equal to 7,884> t table equal to 1,666 with significant value 0,05<0,05. Work commitment variable have positive and significant effect to morale with t value equal to 10,173> t table equal to 1,666 with significant value 0,00<0,05. Based on test of coefficient of determinas R2 obtained result equal to 0,741 which mean as much 74,1% independent variable of motivation, leadership style and compensation influence work spirit through work commitment, while rest 25,9% influenced by other factors not examined in this research.
