COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF BANKRUPTCY RISK OF MINE AND MINERAL MEDIUMS BEFORE & AFTER APPLICATION OF EXPORT POLICY EXPORT OF METAL METALS & MINERALS PERIOD 2011 – 2016

Abstract

This study aims to comparing risk level of bankruptcy for metal & mineral corporations listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange on period before & after metal & mineral ores export restriction policy. Period before metal & mineral ores export restriction policy is period before UU 4/2009 & PP 1/2014 executed from 2011 to 2013, while period after metal & mineral ores export restriction policy is period after those regulations executed from 2014 to 2016. This study is based on the problem show that majority of metal & mineral corporations get many losses on period after metal & mineral ores export restriction policy executed than before metal & mineral ores export restriction policy executed. This study use Altman Z-Score method as tool to measure risk level of bankruptcy & use secondary data that is financial statements from 8 corporation as this study’s object. Result of this study show that period after metal & mineral ores export restriction policy executed has higher risk level of bankruptcy than before metal & mineral ores export restriction policy executed.
