Abstract
News is written from the standpoint of one who desire to be informed, where as publicity is written from the viewpoint of one who desires others to be informed. John C Merril say that printed journalism was activities and enterproses concerned with conveying news and interpristation of news – along with liberal doses of promotions, propaganda, entertainment, and human enterest feature – to mass and specialized audience.
Journalism embraces all the form in which and through which the news and coments om the news reach the public. By communications is here means the mechanism through which human relation exist and develop – all the symbols of the mind , together with the means of conveying the through space and preserving them in time. It includes the expression of the face, attitude and gesture, the tones of the voices, words, writing, printing, railways, telegraphs, telephone, and whatever else may be the latest achievement in the conguest of space and time.
