Abstract


Soto Hj.Fatimah as a business on culinary faces challenges on human resources job satisfaction.
Results of observation & initial interview shows that existing problems of human resources have
relations on responsibility factor, opportunity to develop, administration & company policy, and
working condition. Based on those problems the researcher will make research on Soto Hj.Fatimah
Restaurant using descriptive qualitative and two factor theory by herzberg as basis. The result show
that job satisfaction in Rumah Makan Soto Hj.Fatimah’s Jl.Garuda Branch is determined by : (1)
opportunity to grow affected by facility availability, tools, and job promotion. (2) responsibility affected
by disciplinary and supervision. (3) administration & regulation affected by working hours and salary
system. (4) work condition affected by employee perception of brand’s workplace.
