THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL POLITICS, ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORTS AND COMPENSATION TOWARDS WORK PRODUCTIVITY MODERATED WORK STRESS (CASE STUDY ON PRODUCTION SECTION EMPLOYEES P.T. CAKRAWANA SEMARANG)

Abstract


P.T. Cakrawana Semarang is a company engaged in producing furniture with
various models. In carrying out its activities, this company experienced a problem
phenomenon where the work productivity of its production employees was low,
allegedly due to negative organizational politics, lack of organizational support and
compensation that was not in line with employee expectations. The formulation of the
problem in this research is how the management of P.T. Cakrawana Semarang
increases the work productivity of its employees by eliminating organizational politics,
providing organizational support and providing compensation in accordance with
employee expectations. This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational
politics, organizational support and compensation on work productivity partially and
simultaneously, as well as analyze work stress in partially moderating the influence of
organizational politics, organizational support and compensation on work productivity.
The population is 100 employees who work in the production section using the
Census sampling technique, where the entire existing population can be used as a
sample. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression methods with
Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).
The research results show that organizational politics, organizational support and
compensation partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on
work productivity. In addition, work stress strengthens the influence of organizational
politics, organizational support and partial compensation on work productivity. The
policies that management needs to implement are directing organizational politics
carried out by its employees towards positive things, increasing support from agencies
to their employees, providing compensation in accordance with applicable laws and
regulations and eliminating the occurrence of work stress.
