INFLUENCE of OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, OCCUPATIONAL HEALT AND QUALITY of WORK LIFE ON LABOR PRODUKTIVITY IN THE PRODUCTION of PT MULIAPACK GRAVURINDO

Abstract


Increased productivity will result in an immediate improvement in the living standard distribution under the same conditions of acquisition prduktivitas accordance with the labor input. This study aims to determine the effect of occupational safety, health and quality of work life on employee productivity in PT Muliapack Gravurindo Semarang.

The population in this study was a production worker at PT Muliapack Gravurindo Semarang with the sample of 82 people with census sampling technique. The analysis used data validity and reliability, asumsiklasik test, multiple regression analysis and t test and F test

The results showed no significant positive effect on safety variables on labor productivity in the production of PT Mulia Pack Gravurindo Semarang, with regression coefficient 0.470 and t value (2.459)> of the t table (1.661). There was a significant negative effect on the health variables on employee productivity, with regression coefficient 0.437 and t value (5,853)> of the t table (1.661). There was a significant negative effect of the increase in the variable quality of the live work on employee productivity, with regression coefficient 0.250 and t value (3.648)> of the t table (1.661). There was a significant effect of the variable occupational safety, health and quality of live work on employee productivity with the calculated F value (30.753)> F table (3,091)

Should the PT Mulia Pack Gravurindo Semarang improve the quality of employees’ work by improving the safety by providing a safe work equipment and work equipment standards
